The deadline to apply for Apprentices at the Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) ends today, February 7, 2022. Interested applicants can apply for Graduate, Graduate and ITI Apprentice positions at the ‘ official site.
Recruitment is underway for a total of 150 positions, including 50 vacant positions for commercial apprentices, 60 positions for technical apprentices (graduates) and 40 for graduate apprentices. The appointment is for one year, as per the official notice.
The recruitment drive is being conducted by the Imarat Research Center (RCI), Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Missile Complex, DRDO.
Eligibility criteria:
For the Graduate Apprentice position, applicants must hold a BE/BTech (in ECE, EEE, CSE, Mechanics, Chemistry), BCom or BSc degree as per the notice.
For apprentice technician vacancies, a degree in the field of EEE, ECE, CSE, chemical or mechanical engineering is mandatory. For vacant Apprentice Trade positions, an ITI in the field of Fitter, Electronic Mechanic, Welder, Turner or Electrician is required.
Candidates must be at least 18 years old as of January 1, 2022 of this year to apply for the positions. In addition, applicants with a graduate degree or those with more than one year of work experience cannot apply for the DRDO Apprentice Recruitment.

Before completing the apprenticeship application, they must ensure that they have completed their registration process on the portal of the Ministry of Human Resources and Development (MHRD).
For Apprentis Métiers job offers, registration required is required before completing the DRDO application.
Processing:
Graduate apprentices will be paid Rs 9,000 per month, while apprentice technician positions will receive Rs 8,000 per month. For commercial apprentices, the allowance will be in line with government standards.
Selection process:
Selection will be based on a written test/interview, as required by the DRDO.
