Registration for APSC Ranger Recruitment 2022 closes today for 50 positions at apsc.nic.in

The Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) will today conclude the online application process for the recruitment for the position of Forest Ranger in the Forest Service of Assam under the Department of Environment and Forests , Assam. Interested candidates can apply for the positions on the official website apsc.nic.in. The deadline for fee submissions is January 30.

APSC’s recruitment campaign is underway to fill a total of 50 vacant Ranger positions, of which 13 positions are reserved for female applicants.

Eligibility criteria

Age limit: Candidates must be at least 21 years old and no more than 38 years old on January 1, 2021.

Education Qualification: The candidate must possess a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in science or engineering from a recognized university with at least one of the following subjects – agriculture, botany, chemistry, forestry, geology, horticulture and others.

Registration fees

General/EWS category applicants are required to pay the Rs 250 fee, while Rs 150 applies to SC/ST/OBC/MOBC category applicants. Applicants in the BPL category are exempt from paying the fee.
